In this video we will be exploring how to create your own in-camera transitions to help spice up your video. In theory, these transitions will require no video editing and will be able to be created using only your camera and creativity...in theory. This is because they work by using visual elements within your shot to stitch together your two clips. If used correctly, these transitions can give the impression that you essentially performed a magic trick in front of your audience.
The three transitions we will explore are the invisible cut, the whip pan, and crossing the frame. Each of these uses what is in your shot to create a fluid transition between clips. We hope that by using these tips you will be able to wow your audience in your next video!
